ARCTIC THUNDER
Carlyle begun “In The Beginning School Of Performing Arts (ITB)”, notating “GOD is the Beginning, and You won’t know where you are going, if you have no knowledge of where you came from or knowledge of your past.

During the school’s summer-camp first enrollment of students, Carlyle saw the motivation of the young students from ITB’s unique music instructions. The young students turned into young performers. After ITB’s first music concert at the school, Carlyle inspired the young group to name themselves. The agreed name became “Arctic Thunder”. Members of Arctic Thunder -
(from age 6-14 years old) are being taught {Total Entertainment, Stage Presence, Music Reading, Music Theory, Composing & Recording, Togetherness, Love & Respect to others, Rehearsing and Performing at professional concerts. Concert Promoter (Wilber Flecther) W.L.F Productions seen and heard three of the 12 member Arctic Thunder group, group director, guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist (Kayla Patrice Carlyle (8) yrs old), of Bowie, MD. drummer and vocalist (Kristian Alexandria Carlyle (6) yrs old), of Bowie, MD and bass guitarist (Cedric Mearite (8) yrs old) of Upper Marlboro, MD. as requesting rehearsal time for “The Motown Legends Concert”. Flecther and Carlyle suggested adding Arctic Thunder to the show. The Motown Legend Concert was exciting and fun, as well as a good test for Arctic Thunder to experience the live concert entertainment business and professionalisum. By being in the entertainment field before, Carlyle wanted Arctic Thunder to have a more professional approach and appeal.
In the 2005 school season, Carlyle dissolved the line-up with the exception of
(Briana Sealy (Lead Vocalist) of Bowie, MD. Darryl Taylor Jr.,(Lead Keyboardist) and daughters Kayla Patrice (New Director) & Kristian Alexandra Carlyle –
(Rythum Session Lead & Drummer), of Bowie, MD. and added Candice Liverpool, of Bowie, MD. Christyana Wood, & Jazmin James (Dancer, Vocals & Keyboards), both of Bowie, MD. Orrin Moore (Bass Guitarist), Corbin Johnson (Drummer), of Bowie, MD. And Cameron Baidy (Percussion). The new line-up was signed to the Rythum & Soul concert by Flecther which featured: The Persuaders and Carl Carlton. Arctic Thunder gave a more professional and successful performance. Now the group has been signed to Platinum Music Group @ Studio 84, for interest of signing with Disney and distribution of their CD.
Breakthrough Future
Arctic Thunder is now recording in the studio and continuing concert performances by working with various promoters, Skip Mahoney, Fred Johnson (Gen. Mgr. of the Camelot, Marcus Johnson, and others through Carlyle. Arctic Thunder has became known as the youngest and hardist working group in america with a unique crossover & crossback old school style that will launched the group’s career and promote the young artist education.

Awarded: Rosa Pryor Music Scholarship Award; Recognition and Grant from Prince Georges County Executive (Jack Johnson). Recognition and Grant from New US Senator: (Douglas J. J. Peters), Asked to perform at the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts.
Recognition by several concert promoters.

Music & Vocal entertainment.

1. We are a group of 9 members (Concert Group) ie: Earth Wind & Fire, Steive Wonder, Alicia Keys;.. etc.
2. All members play all instruments in our show.
3. Opened for major recording artist, incl. Patti Labelle, Carl Carlton, Martha Reeves, Marcus Johnson, and more.
4. All members ages range from 7 - 11 yrs old.
5. They all attend the school "In The Beginning, School Of Performing Arts, Inc." (Currently Recording)
